Patent Glazing
The Design aluminium patent glazing system features a variable pitch facility which allows an almost infinite adjustment of roof pitch angle at the ridge, eaves, hips, valley and wall plate.
This feature enables us to undertake the most complex patent glazed structures such as atrium roofs, covered walkways and building links as well as more conventional projects like conservatories and swimming pool enclosures for both commercial and domestic installations.
Our range of high performance glazing bars can be used in both pitched and vertical applications and will accommodate single or double glazing and various types of polycarbonate sheet.
Although the great inherent strength of aluminium means that extra structural reinforcement can be kept to a minimum, we also undertake the design and installation of structural steelwork such as portal frames where required.
Our service also includes the provision of load and stress calculations to ensure that wind and snow loadings on the glazing can be comfortably met.
