Patent Glazing | Colfox School, Bridport, Dorset
Colfox School was the first independently funded new school in the UK and Design was contracted to supply and fit a total of 14 rooflights. The architect's brief was to achieve maximum natural light in the corridors and classrooms with the minimum of structural supports.
The rooflights varied in shape from mono pitch to dual pitch and pyramid shaped structures.
The aluminium roof bars were glazed throughout with toughened and laminated safety glass.
